Extra meeting, Wednesday 10th December, 7-8pm : "Making Tax Digital" (on Zoom)
BADIs is an association of DVSA instructors around Birmingham, for sharing know-how and support.

It exists also to help people qualify to teach and to learn more about this industry, via monthly meetings and in other ways.
The name "BADIs" was chosen partly to challenge instructors who consider DVSA as the “baddies”.  BADIs believes that ADIs and that agency are together here to create better drivers and therefore safer roads.  (We're hence, in fact, all "goodies").
BADIs knows that success as professionals follows self-improvement, which the 75 members get by sharing what they know.  Moreover, we work constructively with DVSA (and others), though we're not shy to complain when necessary!

Most of us work to train pupils for the car "L-test", but some specialise in advanced driver training, or with company drivers ("fleet"), heavy goods vehicles, or in training future instructors.
BADIs is a member of ADINJC (the ADIs' National Joint Council).  This body is in the first tier of parties contacted by government on policy and major operational changes, such as the tests themselves and when a pandemic strikes.
