BADIs is an organisation for DVSA driving instructors who work in the Birmingham area, to share knowledge and support.
It also exists to help trainees hoping to qualify as instructors, and people who want to know more about this training industry. (If you want someone to teach you to drive, see here instead). See what's coming in 2025 !
The name "BADIs" (pronounced "baddies") is to deliberately counter the less-enlightened ADIs who think they are the "goodies" and that the DVSA are the “baddies”.
BADIs hence differs from some ADI organisations. It recognises that success comes from taking a professional and positive approach to self-improvement, working constructively with DVSA and others, rather than complaining. |
Most of us specialise in training pupils for the car (category B) "L-test", but some cover advanced driver training, company or fleet drivers, heavy goods vehicle training, or the training of prospective instructors.
BADIs is a member of ADINJC (the ADIs' National Joint Council), which is among the first tier of parties contacted by government on policy and major operational changes, such as the tests themselves and when a pandemic strikes.
We provide this site free, but recommend for best value that you consider joining to see latest news and all meetings' summaries. |
